However, you are losing 5913x3 as a Gold (base+100% round trip bonus), and 5913x2 as a silver in redeemable miles. I personally dont think you can get a refund, but if CA will allow $230 cancellation fee - it may be worth it to you for 18000 miles (Gold) -, assuming the new tickets on UA are same price as Air China was.
Yes, thanks for that. I guess it all hinges on the ability of getting a refund, or I guess maybe credit from Air China.
