So it sounds like we should do 3 days at each and then 4 days at either Jiwo or Kila.

I think we want some cultural stuff but not an overwhelming amount. I think we mostly want to do either loungey, beachy or active naturey, hikey type stuff with the must-do cultural stuff thrown in.

Which is the more Wow place for the extra day Jiwo or Kila?

thanks again.

Jiwo and Kila both are great, but perhaps Kila more with the wow factor (the 3 tier infinity pool). If possible, you should try to get Indrakila Suite at Kila (open view of both the adjacent hill and ocean). Kila also has great hikes nearby for the rice terrace fields. If nature is your thing, you should also stay longer than 3 nights in Wana cause that is what it is all about. I find it the most relaxing among the five Amans despite the fact it is the least luxury.

As far as flights are concerned, it will get fairly complicated since Jiwo and Wana are not in Bali. When I did a similar trip from NYC, I flew directly from Singapore to Jiwo, Jiwo to Nusa, Nusa to Wana, and then back to Bali for Kila and Dari. I used Nusa as a transit point to catch the early flight to Wana. Amanusa used to have discount rate for guest staying overnight for transit to Amanwana. (not sure if it works with Bali and Beyond pkg)
