Not ready for trip report just yet, but here's the details of the menu:
Starters:
- Caviar, melba toast and condiments
- Tian of prawns and avocado
Soup:
- vine-ripened tomato soup
- oriental clear broth
Salad:
Seasonal mixed Salad with white wine vinaigrette or cremy seasame dressing
Main courses:
- stuffed chicken breast with mushroom, cornichon tarragon sauce, buttered carrots, asparagus and wild pilaf
- braised chilean sea bass fillet in hoisin sauce with seasonal vegetables and fried rice
- grilled tournedos of beef in three mushroom redwine sauce, seasonal vegetables and potatoes
- roast rack of lamb with roast gravy, roasted vegetables and potatoes
I had both appetizers, the clear broth, no salad, and my pre-ordered lobster thermidor (which was very good, although the portion could have been larger). Overall, food and service was very good. Dom 95 and Krug Grand Cuvee on free flow. More details later.
