for what it is worth, when i was looking recently, i would see 2J and 2F only per flight between both YYZ-HKG and JFK-HKG. i did not see any more than 2J on any flight at 355 out.

i booked 2J and 1F for my trip between HKG-YYZ. really wanted 3 J. at least for half, my trip was downgraded to 77G so auto F to J...believe me, my wife would "literally" have killed me if i was in F and she was in J with our 4 yr old...

now i have been looking for a single J for YYZ-HKG to change my F to J...no luck yet.

i guess i could always make some guys day on the day of the flight and ask him to move to F and i to J...he would probably be a jerk and say no....

i could say sir, do you mind if i sit next to my 4 yr old and you can have my seat...human nature, f'off....but my seat is 1A...cue commercial "whose the looser now"...
