You can also get the US Credit Card:

You actually need to fly to get the miles - just buying the ticket does not help.
You also get miles for flights with other Star Alliance carriers like US, UA, CO - they also count.
You could also do a RT on Thai or SQ for example from Dubai - but make sure how much miles you get - it depends on the booking class.
