It should display automatically from the beginning of the booking process.
When you log in, do you see a little silver button labeled {DMS} next to your name & miles total? That means "Dividend Miles Select," and signifies that the system has you flagged for the award booking discount. If you're not seeing that, you may want to contact US and/or Barclays (shudder) about fixing the omission.
