Paying the departure tax and clearing outbound immigration is usually painless at DPS. Check-in lines can be long, though, for economy. And even premium checkin can be slow, due to common inter-lining and pax with tons of baggage.

The initial security check at the front door to the terminal can be a slog, but nothing can be done about that. The real security check at the gate can be a crush too, but nothing can be done about that either.
