Yep, particularly true when the issue at hand is not addressed by AA.
Issue is not a different routing as granted per AA. Nowhere in my email did I ask for that (I asked for an advance seat selection on IB); I simply stated that was something I could have done had I known about this new policy.
The issue is that going forward all AA codeshare bookings on IB will encounter the inability to book advance seat assignments despite the claimed benefits of an JV/ATI policy proclaiming a seamless travel experience as if AA/BA/IB were operated as one airline.
Now if AA doesn't realize this is an issue, then they may never take action to resolve it.
