Sorry to say that your standpoints are weak. Yes, we are taking advantage of it as if going shopping at a store on a promotional sale. Rules are listed and we follow.
But well, we should not be distracted by this unimportant debate and focus on the main issue.

nacho is right. Most of our complaints are towards its frequent change of poorly written rules, and the lack of effective way to make rooms free when a claim is valid.
It has been a month since the launch of the BRG program. It is hard to believe a worldwide chain cannot streamline the whole process prior to the start of the program, and it is still not done as of now.
