Since my post didn't seem to "fit" in any of the previous threads I decided to simply start a new one about the double-hit to people in TLV.

We in TLV have been royally screwed by BA by having both our redemption rate and TP threshold raised as a part of the changes. I realize that TLV was a special place as a result of being a LH destination and having a EU status threshold, but that was the terms we had when we all signed up.

The current changes seem to have hit us repeatedly in a specific part of the anatomy. I am desperatly trying to stay away from LY but I seem to be driven back there by BA lately. I value my GC because of the benefits it grants me being OW emerald in the USA when I am travelling there domestically. I Was easily hitting the GC requirements using BA for all my north america travel, and using LY for Africa and mainland Europe. Now that is much more difficult. I'm not going to transfer through LHR going to Amsterdam or Frankfurt when I have direct flights.
