For better tracking, you have to use a paid site. The one I use is ExpertFlyer, www.expertflyer.com (which can send you email alerts when award inventory opens up or when a particular seat opens up), but there's one or two others. But the exact airlines supported (for award inventory searches) varies somewhat between the different sites, so if you have specific airlines that you care about, look into that before you commit to which site you will use.
