Cos with LCCs, if a flight's delayed, its not by a few minutes.. it could be a couple of hours! Not to say that Air Asia will be delayed.. but it has been known with Murphy's Law...
A bit of an unnessary dig at Air Asia there I think, just ask AI pax at Gatwick the other day! Long delays can happen to any airline, especially away from their own hub.... or maybe there too if I recall BA at LHR in the snow, fog, leaves on line etc Oh and yes I have been delayed by Air Asia, by 3 hours, late into KL due to a fire and evacuation of the KL LCC terminal and then missed a NON connecting MS flight!
