Dear Guy Betsy, may I respectfully suggest that you check the times of my post, Kawoh's reply and Oneworld Fan's reply and the time of Doc's first post.

It just so happened that I was looking at the "breaking news section" of the internet version of the Straits Times when the news first popped up. I am neither criticising the pilots nor SQ, and my source is the Straits Times anyway. I agree with you that Oneworld Fan should state his source.
I am aware that if Doc is the person who has posted the news first, then I should add any additional stuff in his thread and not start a new thread. However, in this case, Doc posted after us.
If Doc is the designated person to post "breaking news" in the whole of FT - which he seems to do as well in the other forums, I will happily leave him to post first in the future.
