You must not have been in the AMS lounge recently.

While I would agree that the former lounge was small, became crowded easily and didn't have the friendliest agents, the new one, which is a bit further down the hallway, is much better.

Pretty much the same type of food and drink, but probably triple the size and bright and clean.

And when I depart AMS, I also use the SQ lounge which is across the hall from the old AMS lounge. Just remember to bring your elite card - they will not let you in without it.
