A couple long trips by air:

1. ONT-LAX-NRT-SIN-NRT-LAX-ONT. 6 hr turn in coach. Made UA 1K and got 5X RDM's. Sweet!! A long time ago back in 2002-03 in coach.

2. LAX-SYD-MEL-AKL, staying 4 nights, then AKL-MEL-SYD-LAX. This was in Biz so more comfortable. Fare was $600ai and with bump vouchers, cost me approx $200. ^ Someone asked me why did I fly to MEL to go to AKL. That trip also helped me make UA 1K. Also back in 2004.

Car trips:

Drove straight from Southern CA to VYR via Seattle. Was one tired person. That was when I was much younger & had little $$. Did the same in reverse. After using upgrades/coupons the rental car only cost $107ai for the week. ^ Of course, it had unlimited miles.
