Well for anyone interested my fun continues!! I checked my reservation today to see that my waitlisted flight on the 4:55pm flight had been *** NUKED TOTALLY *** and I'd been put on a new waitlis for the much earlier 11:15am flight (there's nothing between those hours). Now thinking perhaps SQ cancelled the flight or something odd like that, i went to ITN:

Flight I was waitlisted on (for H class):

SQ113 A310 1655-1750 F4 A1 Y9 B9 M9 W9 Q9 N9 V9 H0 K0

Flight I was now waitlisted on:

SQ107 A310 1115-1210 F4 A1 Y0 B0 M0 W0 Q0 N0 V0 H0 K0

Yes, there is something very wrong with this picture! So, I called up my T/A and asked "What's going on?" the response was that SQ had claimed the 4:55pm flight was not available to me. She said she called SQ and they claimed they would _never_ clear H class on that flight (!) and to go for a different flight, like the (full) 11:15am flight. I asked if she asked if they'd not even clear for a "valued" (yeah, right I know!) Star Alliance Gold flyer, and aparently not.

So I told my agent about the conversation *I* had had with SQ res the other day in that the res agent said it looked good to clear, that my UA*G status would get me on the priority waitlist and it would be fine, and now this. So my agent has put me back on the waitlist (she thinks it is absurd too that the flight is wide open in all buckets yet for their own weird YM reasons they won't clear H yet they suggested I move to the earlier, SOLD OUT, flight - which is much less convenient to me). So she is going to take it up with SQ again....

So, on it goes....
