I finally got one!

10/11 GEG-SLC-OKC on CR7s...No Go. #5 of 6 out of GEG and #2 of 4 out of SLC.
10/14 OKC-SLC-GEG on CR9s...#1 of 1 out of OKC with 2 seats open. Got it and left with 1 empty. Out of SLC, #6 of 9 with no open seats.

Also, my dad who I gifted MVP to now is batting over 50%, and they gave him a companion (my mom) on one of the recent flights:
