I realize that this is responding to an old post, but...
I have Nokian WRG2 SUV tires on my CR-V. Allegedly an all-weather tire that is good in snow and does not need to be changed out for the summer. Do they grip well? Yes, I suppose. Do they wear quickly? It sure seems so to me. I've driven about 6,000 or 7,000 miles since I've bought them last October, and the tread has gone down about 2 mm, which seems just a tad excessive to me.
