Nah... in 2012 I might still pick BA because I can requalify at 800TPs but I will never make 1500TPs on leisure travel alone. I wish!
Not necessarily a bad thing from BA's perspective. I am not the really frequent flyer they want. It is very, very hard to pick BA as your short haul business carrier from the EU. The lower threshold meant that I would pick them for LH business travel since I could maintain Gold. Now that won't work with a couple of LH flights per year I will rather use those LH flights to maintain status in M&M.
