On KLM or LH I have a chance if I add my private LH travel in J and my business short haul travel. The lower threshold for BA made it attractive for me to choose BA even if the route was less than direct. Now that I have no chance of requalifying not so much.
It depends on what BA do with the Tier Points. The are increasing the LH, it doesnt say by how much. Would that not be a benefit to other users of BA in Euro Land. I know that things are different where you live and circumstances.
