While it is not book the cook I recently enjoyed the Japanese option. I could have compared it to the lobster thermidor, but SQ messed up the meal order for the second flight - more to follow when I get around to a trip report

Just noticed you said J - the meals I mentioned were in first - the third leg I was on a two class plane and had seafood thermidor (lobster not available) - not bad!
