Looks like I'll be taking a trip in February LAX-TYS. I noticed a couple of mid-morning options are the 330 or the 777. I've not flown on either. So, a couple of questions:

1. If you had the choice, which one would you choose?

2. Are these configured with the economy comfort seats? I know there won't be EC service even if they are so equipped. Edit: I checked SeatGuru and see that they are both equipped with EC seats.

This will be a Saturday flight. So, I'm hoping that even this lowly FO on a cheap T fare might end up with an outside shot of an upgrade. The 777 shows about 6 seats already assigned. The 330 shows no seats assigned.

Of course, with my luck, there will be an equipment change to one of those old 757s. 3 of my last 4 segments had that happen
