Off-Duty SQ staff are never allowed to fly First Class (unless they buy a ticket).

They must travel Economy Class.

First Class seats on SQ can only be purchased with either MONEY or MILES, nothing else.

If Business Class is overbooked on an SQ flight and First Class seats are available, SQ does not upgrade you. Instead, they would try to downgrade you to Economy Class or tell you to take a later flight.
