I know the Moto Atrix supports all of the 3G bands, which is easily bought off CL for around $300 or lower.

And, the phone doesn't have to support all of the 3G bands out of the box. Search if there are different "models" that supports the different frequencies. Chances are, then the hardware is set up for it.
