I think that in the past the display in the market would indicate which had updates, but I'm not 100% sure I'm remembering correctly.

I read this option elsewhere, and was going to try it, but when I hit "clear data" I got a rather scary dialog box saying I'd:

delete permanencty all my application's data, including 'all files, settings, accounts, databases and so on.'

What's the translation on this, does this mean that I'll need to reenter all the accound information all all my apps, or does this just affect the market app?
