I suppose you can get a copy of your credit and send it to both companies.. but if their policy is to pull the credit history on their own, then your time is wasted..
Having one company send your credit history to the other, doesn't seem to be a good idea.. since you're applying for competing cards..
They are both CIBC cards, aren't they? I'm saying apply to both on the same day so that the two credit pulls are consolidated, like people do with the US Chase cards.
I tried to do this with 2 Cap One cards, but was rejected for the second one (with no credit pull) since they only allow one "active" application at one time.
