I stayed at the Hyatt Taipei and enjoyed my time throughly. I was there for about 4 days earlier this year. As a Diamond member, they allowed me to eat the their restaurant which had an amazing buffet.

As for being haunted, I didn't find any wandering ghost.

I would say that the Hotel is interconnected to the major shopping mall and movie theatre. It's also within walking distance of the metro as well and city hall.
