Stayed there for 3 times. Will not stayed there ever again after my last visit.

- Hotel itself is quite nice. Nice reception with a beautiful staircase. Nice bright lobby cafe with good lighting and live music on weekends. They even have an in-house museum about the history of the hotel and Tianjin. Also kept one of the old lifts, a nice touch.

- Rooms have wooden floor and can be noisy with people walking around outside. Sound proofing is not the best at this hotel.

- Service at this hotel is lacking. Think it is mainly due to a lack of training so don't expect too much service during your stay.

- Had some hygiene issues with them on my last stay and given the way the issue was handled (or not handled) by the management and the GM , I will not stay there again.

- Location is ok, near the train station and the river.
