Most of you may remember Mr Baker speaking with Business Traveller at Farnborough Air Show and said that when Qatar Airways moves from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4 in November 2010, the carrier will be in the final stages of completing its new lounge for gold, silver, business and first class flyers.Anyone know what the sitution is in relation to the new lounge? Has it been shelved? or delayed? May need Qatar's Airways help on this one.
I flew out of LHR Mid-September and I asked the check in agent about the same thing. He said that there was originally a lot of excitement about QR's dedicated lounge but then said that this has all changed and that QR will be using Sky teams lounge going forward.
Still the Sky team lounge is very good especially with sleeping facilities on the 1st floor. As I am a silver card holder I am hoping I will receive a similar service in Doha when the new airport finally opens.
