Indigo ist doing a Ryanair/Southwest/LCC approach in India and will not offer premium service or FFP, its contrary to their business model.

India is going thru what Europe went thru in the late 90s early 00s: quick growth of LCCs, legacy full service carriers struggling with each economic growth hickup. Eventually it will lead to a consolidation of private full service carriers and (if the govt keeps supporting it) a zombie flag carrier. In the meantime LCCs get the large volume of the point to point domestic/regional market.
