Have you considered spending the extra night in either Philadelphia or Washington? IMO those are much more interesting than Baltimore, and the whole drive is not that far.

Since this is the midatlantic forum yes, you are correct, I mean Washington D.C.

I spend a lot of time in Philadelphia and I've spent some degree of time in Washington but it's rare that I drive between the two (I usually fly to Washington and drive to Philly on separate trips) so I was hoping to find something unusual that might be worth a stop in between.
