One thing to bear in mind is the pending status applies to points until the extreme of the ticket validity (even if travel complete). It looks like this is governed by the longest validity in the booking as I have a booking pending which included one open (short) open single together with two "booked train only" tickets.
I guess that makes sense as otherwise you could get a refund (less £5 admin fee) and keep the points. However I booked advance tickets which are only valid on the designated train and the points status is already showing as 'completed'.
