Are all airlines of India going down the tube?

As a one world Emerald who travels to India 4-5 times a year and has to take atleast one del - blr flight every time, I was kind of looking forward to IT joining One world. With the issues with IT (the fuel related cancellations is the last of a long list ... which includes terrible service, missing flights due to poor connections etc)

Not that my Domestic India flying is a lot but with the 10-15 segments of flying within India i was hoping to stay on IT to be able to build some miles and possibly earn some upgrades.

I am now scared of flying IT due to the lack of reliability.

What Indian carrier (non LCC) can be a better option?

1) Air India ..... even worst in terms of reliability from what I understand
2) IT .... going from bad to worse
3) Jet is hardly flying anything (instead most flights are Konnect or Lite)

Are there any better options ? (Specially considering the OW status)?
