On the B777 they are 1A or 1K, which would mean that one of the couple, would have to sit across the aisle.
On aircraft with new First the bassinet seats are not at the bulkhead, they are at 5F on the B744 and 4F on the B777.
I would stay in CW and take the middle two seats at the back of the cabin; these seats are at a bulkhead and as suggested great for creating a play area for a toddler.
Don’t listen to them when they say stay in Club!!!.......Upgrade!!! There is a far greater chance of a free seat than in Club. You will be more comfortable, your wife and you can dine together leaving the child in the spare seat and that can take up two hours. There is far more freedom to move around and far less noise.

That is not to say the last row of club or the first row of the upper deck are not great and all of the positive comments above are correct. Ultimately however it is about you. Your kids will almost certainly sleep well on board if they do so at home and you keep to routines that are similar to those at home.

Finally, as you enter the Concorde room with your stroller just watch the faces of your fellow guests. The majority visibly pale……....it is wonderful to behold……. I used to love it......Look after your self and happy flying.

PS remember to get a BAEC card as soon as you pay for kids seats. They get miles and it all helps in a family account.
