Good point. (About the positive postings, I mean.)

I hadn't forgot this concept. But you may recall that just about this time (the 3rd week of January,) there was a firestorm around Aeroplan changes (not to mention the www.errorplan.com web site) and people seemed to be really down on AC. You may also remember that there was a significant amount of AC bashing going on, much of it perhaps justified.

When I went back through the posts of a couple of years ago, we were in the thick of the AC takeover of CP. And like now, there were a lot of disgruntled people and posts. In fact, for some extended periods, AC bashing makes up the bulk of posting.

It seemed, given the heated emotions of the last few months, perhaps wiser to let this slide for a time, so as to not be seen throwing gasoline on the fire. Which of course is what I'm known for...

There are few who'd deny, at what I do I am the best
For my talents are renowned far and wide
When it comes to mileage runs in the moonlit night
I excel with itineraries world wide.
With the slightest little effort of my ghostlike charms
I have seen airlines give out a shriek
With the wave of my hand, and a well-placed post
I have swept the very bravest off their feet

I'm the master of sleight, and a demon of flight
And I'll fly you right out of your pants
To a guy in Kentucky, I'm Mister Unlucky
And I'm known throughout England and France

And since I am dead, I can take off my head
To recite Shakespearean quotations
No animal nor man can fly like I can
With the fury of my vast migrations.
