Ok, here is a question for you *A folks... I am starting to earn miles on UA after moving airlines (and moving from Australia!)... Originally the plan was to mainly use my miles on upgrades internationally until I discovered the horror movie that is UA's co-pays..

I am money poor (A scientist) but I travel a fair bit in economy (best fare policy at work, no business!) so I rarely see the inside of a premium cabin and never on F internationally!

So I am thinking I want to eventually spend my miles on something I could never buy: A first class experience (for this steerage man...)

So the question/thought experiment: What is the best first class experience you can buy on *A with miles? In terms of:

*Lounge experience (what is the BEST first class lounge that can be accessed as a redemption first class passenger?)
*Hard product
*Soft product

Things that spring to mind are the Singapore A380 and Lufthansa's first class lounge in (if I recall correctly) Frankfurt...

Can you use miles for a RTW ticket?
