Count your blessings. I'm 4/17 so far this year, and I think I've only had two stays at properties with no suites. Past years have been similar.

(Funny that a previous poster suggested staying at the Sheraton PDX or the Nines if you want an upgrade -- I didn't get a suite at either. The Sheraton gave me a club room (granted, it was a late check-in), and the Nines gave me the exact room I booked on the lowest floor in the hotel...)
