Same here. Both our cards anniversary dates are 10/26.

Annual fee is billed on 10/01.

Chase seems to always bill annual fee on the first of the month, versus Citi always bill annual fee at the close of the statement cycle the month after anniversary - so Chase basically always bills early and get extra money from cardholders because basically in our cases our first year fee waive is for only 11 months instead of 12 months.

When I protested the annual fee was billed almost one month early - I was told the payment of annual fee is not due until Nov with statement closes in Mid October, so...
