The best seats would be the exit row seats. There are four of them. There are also 8 bulkhead seats, but you would have to compete with those people needing to use the cots provided for babies. Other than that, Y on the A340 is very cramped (I hate to be the messenger of doom). I saw one couple where the woman was in the window seat and wanted to get out to the aisle. The man had to form himself into a frog on the seat to let her out. Luckily for her he was flexible enough to do it!
