We recently had (2) rooms at the CY Tokyo. Both kings. I default to selecting two people all of the time, even though we only had one person in the other room. When my wife was checking rates as our visit got close, she selected one person for my uncle's room. It was cheaper due to one occupant. That was my only experience with Marriott, so far, with charging more for TWO people.
