We had a reservation for here next summer, and just got an e-mail saying that it won't be honored (for obvious reasons) but they're happy to assist in transferring the booking over to the Le Meridien. Which, from what I can tell from the photos, may be quite a step down.

I wonder if the booking can be moved to the St. Regis if and when it's up and running next year?
