I just made PPS for 2001, everything was smooth sailing until...

I tried to use a ticket issed by UA that contained SQ segments (ticket was full Y, before I got promoted to a position that allowed J/C travel). I went to the Kris lounge to try to upgrade the difference (paid with $$$).

So I told them : "Take the difference from the Y fare from the J fare and I'll pay the difference"

The respose I got : We cannot upgrade united issued tickets for SQ travel. If you want to travel J you need to buy a new ticket.

I walked out a little peeved, and said "Too bad, you could have gotten some extra money from me today".

And I thought my air travel would be trouble free with SQ in *A. So much for that.

I am still a little annoyed.
