I think almost all the flights from Singapore to Europe are non-stop these days. That is what the market demands (amd more profitable too). I remember from back in MSA and early SQ days (early '70s) when the 707s would stop in either KUL/BKK, then an Indian subcontinent city (usualy Bombay or Colombo), Bahrain (small little terminal back then), FCO or ATH, FRA or ORY before getting to LHR.

You might check if SQ still stops in the Maldives before going on to somewhere though I think those have been dropped..
