Alright, AC currently has a double Aeroplan miles to Dublin or Amsterdam from YYZ.
Any ideas how to exploit this as well for a guy from Saskatchewan? If I could achieve a routing via Amsterdam or Dublin, that would mean additional 6000-8000 miles, for a mileage run total in the 75,000 mile range.
So far, I'm looking at:
YQR - YYC (AC Jazz)
YYC - ORD (UA)
ORD - YYZ (UA or AC)
YYZ - AMS/DUB (AC)
AMS/DUB to LHR (BMI)
... a couple necessary Star Alliance carrier segments in here (distinct carriers)
AMS/DUB - YYZ (AC)
YYZ - ORD (AC or UA)
ORD - YYC (AC or UA) <-- this is just a routing pecularity
YYC - YQR (AC Jazz)
14 segments, 4 distinct itineraries all meshed together, and prices out in the CAD $2000 (US$1250) range, and good for approximately 76,000 AP miles (incl. bonus). Pricing comes from online sites such as Expedia, and AC's own reservation website.
Am I a crackpot, or should I call my agent and piece this mess together?
Thanks
