Using Beverage Carts in BE???

I just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this. The title pretty much sums it all up, on a recent flight inter-Asia on a 757 with only about 8 people in BE, the Flight Attendant came down the aisle with the beverage cart to serve drinks and food. I'm not going to give the specific flight details because I don't want the crew to get in trouble and the service was actually great! But I thought it was pretty tacky to come down the aisle with the cart and have the sheet with everybody's name there and look at it constantly to address people by name.

I have another thread going about the UG policy (or lack thereof) inter-Asia but was surprised to see this on one of my four inter-Asia flights served by a 757. Also, interesting to note that the toothpick came in a Northwest Airlines package and the cart had an NWA logo on it! Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and what your feeling is on a cart coming down the aisle in BE.....especially with so few passengers seated up front
