Do a search--there are some good threads on this topic.

In summary--Hilton is awful in the Carribbean.

Cancun used to be the best option if you include the Quintana Roo area in the "Caribbean"--but it is no longer a Hilton

Hilton Barbados is reasonable. Stayed there many years ago soon after it opened, and it's "just okay".

I would fly a further west and go for the Hilton in Cabo--fabulous property.
