Thanks for all the suggestions. I have my first SW flight coming up in Nov, so we'll see how it goes.

The other thing I realizes that sucks is connections. As a frequent flyer, I don't mind very short connections since I can hussle through airports.

But even if you have a low boarding assigment if I make it onto the flight at the last minute, I'm still going to have a crappy seat on SW.

I can't believe as they're trying to lure business travelers that they won't do assigned seats.
