The mileage is tight, you have to keep under the 26k...to get the 1800 fare...
Best I can do is...
SQ.....SYD-SIN = 3900
TQ.....SIN-LHR = 6816 connecting in BKK
UA.....LHR-MIA = 4595 connecting in IAD
AC.....MIA-YVR = 2823 connecting in DEN
AC.....YVR-SYD = 7793
Total mileage 25927....
But still one short...
Come Empress...you can find it !..?</font>
Ferrari, you already have it...with a small modification to your plan: SIN-LHR can be completed with a combination of SK and TG and you don't have to overnight in BKK
SK972 follow by TG910. This saves you some unnecessary connection within Europe as you will hop on a BKK-LHR direct flight. Hope this works out for you.
On this promotion, I have to side with those think RTW is kind of expensive especially when Scoop added that after June 1st the cost would then be $2,800AUD. I can get all 5 carriers on 5 segments wholly within Europe for $500USD, so it's much better. To satifsfy my own 'no mileage run policy', I just made a mini-vacation for myself with the following itineary:
1) LHR-NCE (BD)
2) NCE-MUC (LH)
3) MUC-VIE (OS)
4) VIE-CPH (SK)
5) CPH-LHR (RG)
Total cost: $500USD
Total miles: 58,371 miles
How do I get to Europe? I have some options:
1) Swim across the Atlantics

2) Buy a cheap fare to LHR on any Star carrier
3) Buy H fare on AC and fly C across the pond
4) Use points to fly there
5) Use up a free gift certificate from AC to fly to Europe in D class (provided I have not found a better use of it)
So far I haven't seen any other alternatives that allow North Americans to milk this promotion for less than $500USD. But maybe there are better plans out there, hope to see somebody else come up with something even better or improve on my suggestions.
