The majority view is that any other seat in the F cabin is better than 4D.

Of course there are always individual idiosyncracies which might lead one to prefer 4D. A purser told me once she had a passenger in 1A who was terrified of looking outside, and so asked to switch seats to 4D. She was shocked that anyone would voluntarily want to switch out of 1A into 4D but I guess it just goes to show.
