Won't work. They are college students and have classes Monday after Thanksgiving. Saturday and Sunday returns are sold out in the low fare classes.
The issue I have is how can United wiggle out of this when the same flights are flying at the same times?

Well, I guess I have learned a lesson from this, but I'm not sure United would have treated this any differently if I had booked it on their website.
